Ellington Daniels, was in his front yard where he personally enjoyed his landscaping creation to beautiful perfection when he exhaled his last breath, at 61, and passed from this world to the next, on January 17, 2017.

On December 18, 1955, Ellington entered this world, and blessed it with his presence by way of  Ellington Daniels Sr, and Joan Scott, his parents, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Ellington loved nature in all forms, whether enjoying the ebb and flow of the waves of the Pacific Ocean, or the heat of the desert, or the crisp cool mountain top covered with snow, Ellington was comfortable, loved every nuance, and all the experiences of being in nature. Ellington fed the animals in nature and made sure they were not hungry. Ellington was interested in the black birds, and would look up to the heavens to see if any were around.  If Ellington’s eyes would catch a glimpse, and see a black bird, he would exclaim, “I see you black bird!” The black bird would always respond. Ellington was passionate about people caring about one another, and wherever there was an injustice, to right that wrong. Ellington was solution oriented, where there was a problem, there was a solution, to focus on that solution, and to bring it to fruition. Ellington loved his wife dearly, and would often tell her, "It's just you and me baby." Ellington loved his children, and extended family. Ellington enjoyed life, lived life to the fullest, and on his own terms.

Ellington honorably served in the military armed forces in both branches of the Army and Navy.

Ellington was employed with United Parcel Services(UPS) at the time he passed from life to life.

Ellington leaves his legacy, wife Diane, and children Akil, Aisha, Asim, and Monique, his father Ellington Daniels, and step-father, Donald Miller, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a whole host of other relatives.

Services at 8:30 a.m. on Monday February 20, 2017,  to celebrate Ellington's life, a sea burial, where the sea will welcome Ellington’s body; the honors of individualized, caring, sensitive, compassionate, personal touch by Judah Ben-Hur, of Argos Funeral Services, it doesn’t get any better.
