Jeffrey Lynn Johnson

June 13, 1947 - September 26, 2016

Jeffrey “Jeff” Johnson, 69 years old passed away peacefully on September 26, 2016 in North Hollywood CA while in the comfort of his own home.

Jeff was born in Los Angeles CA on June 13, 1947 to Robert Theodore Johnson & Viola “Loretta” Johnson.

 He was survived by his loving life partner & main squeeze Vickie Cowles, his daughter Kathryn Lynn Taylor & his four grand daughters Faye, Natalie, Maryanne & Zahava.

He is also survived by his sister Melinda “Putsi” Johnson & his niece and nephew Jessica Miller & Britton Bright.

 He was preceded in death by his older brother Lawrence “Spike” Johnson.

Jeff graduated from Birmingham High School Van Nuys CA in 1966. 

Soon after he graduated he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War where he was awarded The Purple Heart for Courage & Bravery.

Jeff was a man of many traits such as Marine Corps Veteran, Park Ranger, Landscaper, Respiratory Therapist and his favorite He was an Actor.

 He was part of The Screen Actors Guild and had many roles.

 He loved the outdoors, camping & fishing. He enjoyed cooking and making his famous chili while pairing it with his favorite beer.

 He was a very loving man that touched the hearts of many.

 His heart was full of love, laughter, music, dance and let us not forget his amazing sense of humor.

He is at peace now where is spirit will enlighten the angels above.
