Jose Garcia Jimenez 78, passed away suddenly from heart disease on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Lou Jimenez, their 9 children, Mary Lou, Maria, Julia, Manuela, Christina, Virginia, Teresa, Jose, and Alfredo; 12 grandchildren, Gizel, Elizabeth, Annalisa, Andria, Robert, Carlos, Christina, Chelse, James, Edward, Christian, and Ethan; and great grandchildren, Gabriel, Maria, Jasmine, Giselle, and Joel. He is preceded in death by his youngest grandson, Adrian.

He also leaves his siblings, Guadalupe, Desiderio, Andrea, Manuel, Maria, and Ezquiel.

Jose was born and raised in El Molino a small village in Jalisco, Mexico. He left his hometown in April 1962 and relocated to the United States in his early 20's where he met his wife and ultimately settled in Torrance, California.

He was an Air Craft Machinist for several years but later started his own gardening business. He worked hard through the years and brought his children to work in the family business where values of hard work and pride were instilled. He continued to work until the day he passed.
