Mary Burnett  (1940-2024)

Mary Burnett, age 83 of Temecula, California, passed away peacefully on Friday June 28th with family by her side.

She was born in Wyoming and lived in many places, settling in Hermosa Beach, California, where she lived for over 20 years.  She worked in the aerospace industry for many years and traveled extensively after she retired before moving to Colorado to be closer to family.  She enjoyed the beach and tennis and loved being social and gathering for meals with friends.  She worked part time in retirement at the Pepsi Center in Denver where she enjoyed watching the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and many fun concerts.  She once told us her favorite concert was Pit Bull!

Mary is survived by her brothers Jim and George, her children Michael and Michelle and her grandchildren Kevin, Madison, Brian and Berkley.  She was preceded in death by members of her close family including her parents, her brother David and her son Jeffrey, who passed as a young child.  There will be a private ceremony with direct family only, as per her request.

Though we mourn her loss, we celebrate a life well-lived.
