At Argos Funeral Services, we believe every family deserves compassionate care, honest information, and a clear understanding of funeral costs. During a difficult time, you should feel comfortable asking questions and confident that you understand the arrangements you are making.
We do not use hidden fees, misleading offers, or pricing gimmicks. We explain the services and merchandise you select, their costs, and any applicable charges from outside providers before you approve your arrangements. Our commitment is to help you make informed decisions with clarity and peace of mind.
Available 24 Hours a Day — Without Additional Transfer Surcharges
When your family needs assistance, we are here to help. We do not charge an additional fee for:
- A second attendant when needed to transfer your loved one.
- Transportation at any hour, including evenings, overnight, and early mornings.
- Transfers from a private residence.
- Transferring a loved one who weighs more than 250 pounds.
These circumstances do not add a surcharge to our regular service or transportation charges. The costs of your selected services will be clearly explained during the arrangement

We work diligently to obtain the completed death certificate and the required permit for cremation or burial. However, the timing of a physician’s signature, permit approval, or other required processing may be affected by circumstances outside our control.
Before scheduling, announcing, or finalizing a viewing, funeral, or celebration of life, please speak with an Argos Funeral Services staff member.
Our staff will review the status of the required documentation and coordinate proposed dates and times with the person responsible for arrangements, along with the cemetery, chapel, crematory, or other venue involved. This coordination helps prevent scheduling conflicts and avoidable disruptions.
We understand how important these plans are to your family and will guide you through the necessary steps with care and respect.
Office Visits by Appointment
Please call to schedule an appointment before visiting our office. An appointment allows us to set aside time to give you and your family our full attention.
Because our staff may be assisting other families, we cannot guarantee availability for walk-in visits. Our 24-hour service remains available when you need assistance.
Payment Requirements
Payment in full is required before any services are scheduled, initiated, or performed.
The person responsible for arrangements must pay the total agreed-upon charges before work begins. Delayed or incomplete payment may result in the postponement or cancellation of services without further notice.

Green Burial Options

- Full Body Burials at Sea are considerably less expensive than a traditional funeral and are considered Environmentally Friendly. Traditional Burials are becoming very expensive and use a large footprint of our environment to bury a loved one.

We accept requests from all over the world for those who wish to be buried off the coast of California (Pacific Ocean).

Burial At Sea
While unfamiliar to most, (non-cremated) full-body burial at sea is allowed under the authority of the EPA.
Burial at sea has been a time-honored tradition for mariners, military, and those with a fondness of the ocean for thousands of years.
Full-Body burial at sea can be performed using a specially made natural sail-cloth shroud.
Interment is conducted in approved federal waters off the coast of California.

When the need arises, close family members can be interred at the same coordinates allowing the same closure and significance of proximity traditional burial conveys.
Long after internment, family members can visit the exact location for remembrance or for ceremonial purposes. Just visiting the ocean shore can evoke powerful memories of the loved ones we have returned to its awe-inspiring embrace.

Full-Body Burial at Sea can be provided in conjunction with a traditional funeral service (attended or non-attended).

"Argos", a Greek city One of the oldest ancient Greek cities which has remained at the same position during all its history from the prehistoric period, through the ancient history, the Byzantine period and the Turkish occupation.
Argos also held an important role during the early years of the Greek State just after the rebellion against the Turks in 1821.
Many times destroyed, but never abandoned by its citizens, Argos was quickly rebuilt after each destruction.
Today, Argos is a small modern town with a population of about 30,000. It belongs to the prefecture of Argolis in Peloponnese. 33
